The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: "And those who avoid the Taghut so as not to worship it, and who turn back to Allah, for them is the good news. So give good news to My servants."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Then Allah the Exalted said:
But those who have avoided Taghut, lest they worship it والذين اجتنبوا الطاغوت أن يعبدوها
[Az-Zumar 39:17]
to the end of it.
Among its benefits is the praise of those who avoid the Taghut.
And among its benefits is that they have this great reward, which is His saying:
for them is the good news لهم البشرى
.
And among its benefits is that tawhid (the oneness of Allah) is not completed except by avoiding the Taghut and being sincere to Allah, as He said:
who have avoided Taghut, lest they worship it, and turned back to Allah - for them are good tidings اجتَنَبُوا الطاغوت أن يعبدوها وأنابوا الى الله لهم البشرى
[Az-Zumar 39:17]
.
And among the benefits of this verse is that those who are characterized by this attribute, avoiding the Taghut and turning back to Allah, are the people of the good news
for them is the good news لهم البشرى
, and Allah did not specify the time of the good news, so it includes the good news in this world and in the Hereafter.
And among its benefits is that whoever associates partners with Allah is deprived of this good news, because He made the good news for whom? What? For those who avoided the Taghut so as not to worship it and turned back to Allah.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the affirmation of specific servitude, as He said:
So give good news to My servants فبَشِّرْ عباد
, and specific servitude is divided into a more specific type and a type that is not as specific. All the believers, every one of them, are the servants of Allah, and the prophets' servitude is more specific. Now,
Exalted is He who took His Servant by night سبحان الذي أسرى بعبده ليلًا
[Al-Isra 17:1]
is this from the specific or the more specific? It is from the more specific.
And remember Our servants, Abraham واذكر عبادَنا إبراهيم
[Sad 38:45]
this is from the most specific servitude.
