Continuation of the benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah and denies the truth when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell a dwelling place for the disbelievers?”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The second of the benefits is that lying about Allah is the greatest of the types of lying.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the obligation to be careful in interpreting the Qur'an, because interpreting the Qur'an is a translation of what Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said. If one interprets it in a way other than what Allah intended, he becomes one who lies about Allah.
Among the benefits of this verse is the difference in the ranks of sins, and that sins have ranks that differ in degree, just as good deeds have ranks that differ in degree.
Among its benefits is that the increase and decrease of faith is based on this benefit, because the greater the sin, the greater the decrease in faith caused by it.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the obligation to believe in the truthfulness of one whose proof of truthfulness has been established, such as His saying:
and denies the truth when it has come to him وكذب بالصدق إذ جاءه
[Az-Zumar 39:32]
This indicates that one who denies the truth is included in this description, which is more unjust than one who commits this act. Good.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the praise of the truthful ones—may Allah have mercy on you—the praise of the truthful ones. The reason for this is that one who lies to them is included in this crime, which is the most unjust thing that can be.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that one who lies about something direct to him is greater in sin than one who lies about what he heard, because the intermediary between him and the reality may weaken the status of truthfulness in his view, due to His saying:
when it comes to him إِذْجَاءهُ
.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the establishment of the fact that the disbelievers are such that the Fire is a dwelling place for the disbelievers.
Among its benefits is the clarification of what many people say today when a person dies, saying he has gone or

The Shaykh : Yes

The Shaykh : to his final resting place. If we take this phrase at face value, it would include the denial of the resurrection if the grave is considered the final resting place, meaning there is no resurrection. The final resting place is either Paradise or the Fire. Therefore, one must be alert and point out this phrase, and it should be said that this is an expression adopted from those who deny the resurrection. However, many of the common people take words without thinking about their meaning.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that the believer is not made to remain in the Fire forever, due to His saying:
a dwelling place مَثْوًى
For whom?
for the disbelievers لِّلْكَافِرِينَ
The believer is not one for whom the Fire is a dwelling place. Rather, if he is punished in the Fire according to his sin, his ultimate destination is Paradise.
