Warning the Shaykh about an error people commit when they bury one of their own, saying the phrase "he has moved to his final resting place"
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : There is a questioner who asks, saying that some people, when they bury the deceased and place him in his grave to meet his Lord—white or black, his knowledge is with my Lord, and I do not say to place him in his "final resting place"—for this word is a word of disbelief, if only they knew. The announcers in all Islamic countries say, "So-and-so has passed away and will be moved to his final resting place." This is a word of heresy, a word of those who do not believe in the Day of Resurrection. "His final resting place" is only this hole. So whoever among you is able to convey this word to some of the announcers who fear Allah and revere Him, let them refrain from this word. "His final resting place" is either a group in Paradise or a group in the Fire. A group in Paradise, his resting place is either Paradise or the Fire. That is the final resting place, and it is not the grave.
So I say, a questioner asked and said that some people, when they bury the deceased, one of them makes a supplication
