Swearing by other than Allah due to the slip of the tongue: Is it minor shirk?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A person swore by other than Allah, and this was a slip of his tongue; he did not intend it.

The Shaykh : No, he owes nothing.
Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earnedلا يؤاخذكم الله في اللغو في أيمانكم ولكن يؤاخذكم بما كسبت قلوبكم وبما عقدتم الأيمان
[Al-Baqarah 2:225]
However, he must keep his tongue pure from saying what is forbidden. If he says "By the Prophet" and is told, "Do not swear by the Prophet, for it is shirk," he should say, "By the Prophet, I do not swear by other than Allah." This is what is correct.
