And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said: [Ali 'Imran 3:25]. In this verse is evidence of the greatness of that Day, due to His saying: [Ali 'Imran 3:25] [Ali 'Imran 3:25]. And in it is also evidence of the call announcing the loss of those who have nothing on that Day but defeat and loss. For this reason, He asked: How will the situation be on that Day? And the answer is: Their situation is the most defeated situation, the most defeated situation is theirs — may Allah protect us from it — because they have nothing; they have lost their religion and their worldly life. Among the benefits of this noble verse is the affirmation of the Last Day, due to His saying: [Ali 'Imran 3:9]. And among its benefits is that whoever disbelieves in the Last Day or doubts it is a disbeliever, because he is denying the saying of Allah the Exalted: So Allah informed that this Day is without doubt, a reality that will certainly happen. It is a must that you will gather with your mother, your father, your sister, and your brother on that Day, but you will gather with them while you are fleeing from them ['Abasa 80:34-37] until people settle in their dwellings. When people settle in their dwellings and gather with them in Paradise, that is the ultimate hope. [At-Tur 52:21] The young ones who died without having offspring will follow their fathers to join them. But does the higher one descend to the lower one, or is it the opposite? It is the opposite, meaning the lower one is raised to the higher one. As for the one who has offspring, he is independent in his rank because he has offspring. In any case, in His saying: [Ali 'Imran 3:25] there is evidence that whoever doubts this Day or denies it is a disbeliever for his denial of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Among the benefits of this noble verse is that the Day of complete recompense is the Day of Resurrection, due to His saying: [Ali 'Imran 3:25] And I said "complete recompense" because a person may be recompensed for some of his deeds in this world, is that not so? Yes, he may be recompensed in this world, but he will also be recompensed in the Hereafter. The souls are recompensed for what they did. He may be recompensed in this world, and what is he recompensed with? Allah the Exalted said: [At-Talaq 65:2-3] He takes him out of every hardship and grants him abundance in provision, and He provides for him from where he does not expect. This is in this world, and this is a reward. And there is another reward, greater and more beneficial, which is guidance. Guidance: Allah the Exalted said: [Muhammad 47:17] Guidance and righteous deeds are better than wealth, better than wealth, because when Allah increases guidance, his chest expands, his heart is illuminated, and he finds peace. Then taqwa (mindfulness of Allah) becomes easier for him than anything, and righteous deeds become the exercise of his heart and the joy of his soul. For this reason, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan an-Nasa'i 3940Hasan (Darussalam) And the believer finds joy in all righteous deeds because he feels two great things in every righteous deed. The first is that he worships Allah with the righteous deed, so he increases in humility before his Lord, love for Him, and turning to Him. The second is that by it he is following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he feels when he performs the worship that his Imam is Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and he increases in love for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and in honoring his words, and indeed in honoring his guidance and his Sunnah. And this is the greatest gain, the greatest gain is that this state is achieved for you in worship and taqwa. Among the benefits of this noble verse is the negation of injustice from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), because of His saying: "And they were recompensed, and they are not wronged." The doer is known: Who is the one who recompenses? Allah. And the one who does not wrong is Allah. But is the negation of injustice from Allah (Glorified and Exalted) from the affirmative attributes or from the negated attributes which they call negative? It is the latter. However, we say "He does not wrong" means there is no least injustice in His recompense, so the negation of injustice is for the perfection of justice. Pay attention, for injustice may be complete or partial. It may be complete such that nothing of the reward for his deed is given, or it may be partial injustice where some of it is given. So when Allah negates injustice from Himself, that necessitates the perfection of His justice. And likewise [Qaf 50:38] "fatigue" means weariness and exhaustion. So Allah (Mighty and Majestic) created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days, and no fatigue touched Him, meaning no weariness or exhaustion. Why? For the perfection of His strength and power (Mighty and Majestic). A person performs a deed but gets tired, but the Lord (Mighty and Majestic), for the perfection of His power and strength, created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in a few days, six days, and no fatigue touched Him. Now, if we take from this a useful rule in the chapter of attributes, it is: that every attribute Allah negates from Himself is intended to affirm the perfection of its opposite. The opposite of injustice is justice, so when injustice is negated, it is for the perfection of justice. The opposite of power and strength is fatigue, so when fatigue is negated, the perfection of power and strength is affirmed. And so on.
