Is it permissible for a Muslim to assist a disbeliever against the transgressor?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, if we seek the help of disbelievers,

The Shaykh : If what?

The questioner : If we seek the help of disbelievers, is it permissible to seek their help or not?

The Shaykh : Yes, it is permissible.

The questioner : Well, if the disbelievers seek our help, we know that Islam... they kill the Sunnis and the Shi'ah, so they seek our help from us. Against the Shi'ah, is it permissible?

The Shaykh : This is permissible if the Shi'ah are in a state that constitutes disbelief; if they are not in a state of disbelief, it is not permissible. Because a Muslim, no matter how much he sins, it is not permissible to assist the disbelievers.
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed.
(28) Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah, except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination. (29) Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent. (30) The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to [His] servants."

Well.
