The benefits of the verse: “Indeed, nothing is hidden from Him on earth or in the heaven.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the warning against disobeying Allah. How is that? Out of fear that He knows of your disobedience to Him. Among the benefits of this noble verse is the refutation of the Qadariyyah, who say that Allah does not know what a servant does until it happens, and these are the extremists, as mentioned previously. Among the benefits of this noble verse is that Allah is All-Knowing of the general and the specific, derived from His saying:
nothing شيء
The indefinite noun in a context of negation generalizes to everything. Among the benefits of this noble verse is the affirmation of the earth and the heaven, which is a known matter. However, if someone asks: “What about other than the earth and the heaven, is it hidden from Allah?” The answer is: No, but He specified the earth and the heaven because that is what is witnessed by us; we do not witness anything but the earth and the heaven, and we do not know what is beyond that except through the unseen, so He mentioned the earth and the heaven. Can we say that among the benefits of the verse is that the attributes of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) are either negated or affirmed? The answer is: Yes, and we have previously divided this in tawhid (the oneness of Allah), and we said that the attributes of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) are either affirmed or negated. The affirmed ones are called thabutiyyah (affirmative attributes), and the negated ones are called salbiyyah (negative attributes). And we said that the negated ones necessarily include affirmation, but He negates the deficiency of that affirmed attribute, and because of the perfection of His knowledge
from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven. لا يخفى عليه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماء
[Ali 'Imran 3:5]
