Continuation of the benefits derived from the previous verse

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Its meaning is the One who possesses judgment and wisdom. And what do you say, 'Abd al-Rahman?
The student: ... hardship brings about ease?

The Shaykh : Yes, it includes that hardship brings about ease. Let us look at the author's words, for he has a comment on this verse. He said: "And the verse of seeking permission is said to be abrogated, and it is said it is not, but people have been lax in leaving off seeking permission". These are the two opinions we referred to. The correct view is that the verse is clear and remains in effect, and that leaving off seeking permission is either due to laxity or due to the removal of the cause that necessitates seeking permission. As for saying that the rulings of the Shari'ah are abrogated because people leave off acting upon them, that has no basis.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : In leaving off seeking permission, people are lax in leaving off what is supposed to be done... We should say in that they were lax in performing it... And what is the cause of their laxity? We say it is their leaving off seeking permission.
The student: ...

The Shaykh : If he was deficient in his upbringing and discipline, but if he was not deficient, then no.
The student: If he is an adult

The Shaykh : If he is an adult, he has become independent. If he reaches maturity, he is like the others. If he is able to change what is wrong, it is obligatory for him. We also discussed yesterday the issue of the saying of Allah the Exalted
There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods] ليس عليكم ولا عليهم جناح بعدهن
[An-Nur 24:58]
and we said that the verse has a text and an implication. There is no problem with its text, which is the negation of blame, because there is no blame... But its implication is that there is blame upon them in these three times, upon the awliya (close friends of Allah) and upon the young ones. And this is problematic, because the young ones are not accountable, so there cannot be blame upon them for disobedience.
The student: ...in one of the individuals

The Shaykh : In one of the individuals. Yes, he says the implication does not have... It is valid by the existence of a case of generality, even if it is just one case.
