The Shaykh : Indeed, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) commanded children, when they reach puberty, to seek permission just as those before them did, meaning at all times. As for before that, they do not seek permission except at three times only. This is because they are hesitant with us, and seeking permission from us every time is difficult. And Allah has not placed any hardship upon this Ummah in this religion. It was also previously mentioned that Allah negated any blame upon the older women who no longer hope for marriage to put off their outer garments, meaning the outer layer of clothing, on the condition that they do not display their adornment. And He made it clear that their modesty is better for them, which is what we will begin with now, if Allah wills.
