The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . >

Then he said:
Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness
[Al-Qasas 28:25]
First, what can be derived from this is the clarity that Allah granted to Musa. She came to him with modesty out of respect for him, because the more dignified a person is, the more people are shy around him. Therefore, you find that people are not shy around a man who lacks dignity; they do not care about him, they speak to him in ways that are not fitting, and they do things in his presence that are not fitting, because he is not dignified. For this reason, it is said: “Be modest, and you will be treated with modesty.”
Also derived from this is the perfection of the character of these two women, where she came walking, not hurrying or running, but walking calmly. This is evidence of the perfection of her manners. Likewise, her being in a state of modesty is also part of the perfection of her manners. And in her saying:
Indeed, my father invites you إن أبي يدعوك
[Al-Qasas 28:25]
there is also the perfection of manners, where she attributed the invitation to whom? To the father, not to herself. This is also evidence of the perfection of her intelligence, because attributing the invitation to the father is closer to Musa accepting the invitation, since the one inviting him is a man, and she had previously described him as an old man. So his invitation to Musa, and directing the invitation to Musa from him, is closer to being accepted.
There is also evidence of her intelligence from a second aspect, due to her saying:
To reward you for what you watered for us
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29:206
If she had said: “My father invites you” and not... in order to direct an accusation to him, or in order to betray him, or to seek him... but she said:
To reward you for what you watered for us
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29:206
... and to make it more likely that the invitation would be accepted.
Also derived from the verse is that it is befitting for a person to have the perfection of manners in his methods and to remove awkwardness, due to his saying:
Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us.
[Al-Qasas 28:25]
For in this is the removal of awkwardness. And it is befitting for a person to remove awkwardness from the one he is addressing, but in the place where... awkwardness is. And just as it should be in the wording, it should be in the state, in the state of the person, such that he faces others with cheerfulness, generosity, and an open face. For this reason, it was among the descriptions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he was always cheerful and often smiling. And the opposite of that is what? Frowning, scowling, and not being open. For this causes others to be repelled by you. And it also causes that no one... with you, even if they sit with you, they do not... But when a person sees you, Allah grants this matter to whom He wills. This matter may be by... and it may be by nature. For some people, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) grants them this good trait, and some people are deprived of it, and some people try to acquire it. And for this reason, ... al-Qays said:
Indeed there are two traits in you that Allah loves: Forbearance, and deliberateness.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2011Sahih (Darussalam)

said: “O Messenger of Allah,
Are they traits you acquired, or did Allah create you with them?
” He said:
Rather, Allah created you with them
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 10:980
So it is understood from this that such traits are acquired through effort and are also by nature. And which is more stable? Nature is more stable. For this reason, the Messenger of Allah said: “Rather, Allah created you with them.” Because in acquiring traits, a person may sometimes forget and not acquire them, and be on his nature... But nature is undoubtedly more complete... And what... a person by habit and acquiring a thing, that becomes a trait for him.
The student:

The Shaykh : What will fix it, or rather, nature is more complete... for a person... to acquire noble traits... this nature, up to now, there may be people who do not agree with it... And how many people have had their temperaments change and their manners improve by what Allah granted them.
