The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . >

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Now, from this phrase
But the answer of his people was not except that they said
[An-Naml 27:56]
we can infer the stubbornness and arrogance of these people.
Another benefit of it is that it indicates that Lut warned them of the punishment of Allah, as their saying:
Bring us the punishment of Allah
[Al-'Ankabut 29:29]
.
One of its benefits is that a caller to Allah should call as a bringer of good news and a warner, and not say, "If I warn, I will drive people away," because warning may be necessary.
One of its benefits is that mere belief in Allah does not bring a person into faith, for these people were acknowledging Allah, as their saying:
with the punishment of Allah بعذاب الله
. And merely believing that the creation has a Lord who manages it does not bring a person into faith.
And among the benefits of the verse is that...
If you are among the truthful
As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 65:348
Are there benefits in it? Yes, one of its benefits is that they were denying him, because he said:
If you are among the truthful
As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 65:348
That is stronger. Yes, Ghannam?

The Shaykh : No, it indicates this. This is the original principle. Otherwise, yes, we might say that they said this in concession to him, meaning based on his statement, but the original principle is that the statement is taken at its apparent meaning.
The student: ....

The Shaykh : This is what we mentioned yesterday: "If you are among the truthful, bring it," because truthfulness is a description that applies to a person when he is characterized by it permanently.
The student: ......

The Shaykh : Yes
