The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: << ومن جاهد فإنما يجاهد لنفسه . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . >

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And His saying, the Exalted:
And whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds. وَمَنْ جَاهَدَ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَاهِدُ لِنَفْسِهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
[Al-'Ankabut: 6]. Among the benefits of this verse is that a person must inevitably experience hardship in fulfilling what is obligatory upon him, because jihad means exerting effort to achieve a difficult matter. And among its benefits is that whoever strives, if he strives in righteous deeds, then his striving is for his own benefit; Allah does not benefit from it.
And among its benefits is the affirmation of the self-sufficiency of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) from His creation, as He said:
Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds. إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَغَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
[Al-'Ankabut 29:6]
.
And among its benefits is that whoever does not strive, his harm is upon himself, because if the benefit of striving is for you, then the harm of leaving it is upon you.
