Is it permissible to include a grave in a mosque under the pretext of expanding that mosque?

The questioner : If a person is buried next to a mosque and they want to expand this mosque such that the grave is included in the building, is that permissible for them, as was done with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?

The Shaykh : No, it is said: expand from the right or the left, or from behind the qiblah.

The questioner : And if they are compelled to do so?

The Shaykh : If they are compelled, they move the mosque to another location, and they do not buy the places. Yes.
