Is it correct to say that the Qur'an came out of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : ... that the Qur'an

The Shaykh : What is this

The questioner : ... the statement that the Qur'an came out of Allah, or that the speech of Allah comes out of Him, is this correct?

The Shaykh : By Allah, if it were said only "the speech of Allah" and we limited ourselves to that, and the truth is that I now see it is better for us not to speak about matters in which the Salaf did not speak; that is safer and better. Do you understand? That is the best.
And among such matters is what we used to say regarding the issue of the qudsi hadith: is it the speech of Allah, or did the Messenger report it in meaning? It is better that we not say it this way. We say the qudsi hadith is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reported from his Lord, and we remain silent. But if we are asked whether it is included with the Qur'an in rulings or not, we say we do not include it with the Qur'an, because it is not worshipped by reciting it, and ritual purity is not a condition for it, and all the rulings that apply to the Qur'an do not apply to it. So I see, meaning finally, and this is what I call for now, that we not speak in such matters except with what the Salaf said. But if we are compelled and it is necessary that we speak, for example, those who say: is Allah a body or not a body?
The student: We do not say ...

The Shaykh : Yes, we do not speak, but we believe that Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is distinct from His creation, and that He has a Face, and that He has a Hand, and that He has an Eye, and that He descends and rises above the Throne. As for saying "body" or "not a body," this has not been transmitted. But we must elaborate on the meaning. We say: if you mean by "body" the composite thing made of parts, some of which depend on others, and which is deficient by the loss of some of them, then Allah the Exalted is not a body in this meaning. And if you mean by "body" that which is described with the attributes befitting Him, then this is a body. But we do not use the term "body," and by doing so we are saved from many objections, whether Satan brings them to our hearts or the friends of Satan bring them to us.

The Shaykh : Error.
