What is the basis for the Shaykh al-Islam's statement that the doctrine of tafwid is among the worst of the sayings of the people of innovation and atheism?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah bless you, the Shaykh al-Islam says that the path of the Mu'awwidah is the worst of the paths.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Their path contains only one matter, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : Their path says that the path of the Mu'awwidah contained one matter, which is silence. As for the path of the Mu'harifah, it contained two matters: ta'til and then tahrif.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : As for the Mu'awwidah, their path contained only one matter.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And that is ta'til only.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : So how can their path be worse than the path of the Mu'harifah?

The Shaykh : Yes, because the path of the Mu'awwidah is a defect in the Qur'an, a defect in the Qur'an, for it implies that the Qur'an came with words that have no benefit, mere utterance. It is also a defect in the messengers, for they speak with words whose meaning they do not understand. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) says:
Our Lord descends to the lowest heaven ينزل ربنا إلى السماء الدنيا
and he does not know the meaning of what is revealed, and he says: "Allah says such and such," while he does not know its meaning. So it is a defect in the messengers, a defect in what they were sent with, and a defect in the One who sent them as well.
And for this reason, he says that the sayings of the people of tafwid opened the door to philosophy, the logicians, and the Batiniyyah, for the Batiniyyah say: "We know from the Book of Allah what you do not know; you are ignorant, and we are the possessors of knowledge." So because of these false implications, it became among the worst of the sayings of the people of innovation and atheism. Yes.

The questioner : I, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Yes, indeed.
