The Shaykh : He says: "Allah has veiled them from us so that we do not see them, and perhaps He reveals them to some of His servants". The word "perhaps" here indicates rarity. "He reveals them to some of His servants, for indeed
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw Jibril in his true form, having six hundred wings that filled the horizon رأى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم جبريل على صورته له ستمائة جناح قد سد الأفق
"
Six hundred wings for a single angel. They filled the entire horizon, to the extent that when the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the Cave of Hira and saw him, he could not see the sky; he could not see the sky at all. This means that the sky was veiled from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) by what he witnessed of Jibril. It is possible that
filled the horizon سد الأفق
means the eastern, western, northern, or southern horizon, but the apparent meaning is the first one.
"They filled the horizon, and Jibril appeared to Maryam as a perfect human being" meaning: complete, complete in humanity, as if he were a complete human being.
He says: "He spoke to her, and she spoke to him". As the Exalted said:
Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man. (18) She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah." (19) He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy." فأرسلنا إليها روحنا فتمثل لها بشرا سويا قالت إني أعوذ بالرحمن منك إن كنت تقيا قال إنما أنا رسول ربك لأهب لك غلاما زكيا
[Maryam 19:17-19]
Pay attention. "I will give you" means I will give you without mixing, without contact. So here, the conversation was between whom? Between Jibril and Maryam, and she saw him as if he were a human being. Yes. "He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while the Companions were with him, in the form of a man who was not recognized, with no sign of travel on him, his clothes intensely white and his hair intensely black". As in the hadith of 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), which is famous and well-known.
"He sat down with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), resting his knees on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) knees and placing his hands on his thighs. He spoke to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed his Companions that it was Jibril".
