The reward attached to righteous deeds if the servant performs them without being mindful of the reward: is it recorded for him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Is it?

The questioner : Is it what is attached to the righteous deed.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And the person’s ignorance of what is attached to it...

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Is that reward recorded for him?

The Shaykh : By Allah, this is a point of difficulty, meaning, if a reward is attached to a righteous deed and a person performs it because he is commanded to do so, without calculating the reward, is the reward recorded for him or not? This is a point of difficulty. The aspect of the difficulty is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever observes fasts during the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith, and hoping to attain Allah's rewards من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا
Sahih al-Bukhari 38
He specified calculating the reward. This is opposed by the fact that the texts are absolute: “Whoever does such and such, he has such and such,” and calculating the reward is not mentioned. But I hope that Allah, the Exalted, the Generous, the Bountiful, will record for him what is attached to it, even if he does not know about it.

The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. His saying...
recite whatever you conveniently can from the Qur'an اقرأ ما تيسّر معك من القرآن
Sahih Muslim 397a
What is the extent of the facilitation in reading the Qur'an, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : The extent of the facilitation?

The Shaykh : The extent of what?

The questioner : The extent of the facilitation.
