What is the meaning of your statement that the abundance of deeds does not necessitate the strength of faith?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, you said that: the abundance of deeds does not necessitate the abundance of faith.

The Shaykh : Does it not necessitate?

The questioner : The abundance of deeds.

The Shaykh : The strength of faith, in the heart.

The questioner : Meaning, faith is stronger in him than in others. So Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, always arranges faith upon deeds
And those who are guided - He increases them in guidance والذين اهتدوا زادهم هدى
[Muhammad 47:17]
,
But they who believe and do righteous deeds والذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات
[Al-Baqarah 2:82]
.

The Shaykh : By what did they find guidance? By the apparent deeds only, or by the hearts as well?

The questioner : By the hearts, but...

The Shaykh : And for this reason, He said in contrast to that,
But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it has [only] increased them in evil [in addition] to their evil وأما الذين في قلوبهم مرض فزادتهم رجسا إلى رجسهم
[At-Tawbah 9:125]
.

The Shaykh : Now, regarding the hadith in which the brothers differed, I think we explained it, to the extent that I remember: he becomes angry and the anger is known on his face.

The questioner : We did not explain it.

The questioner : If you had explained it, I would certainly have written it down, but there is not a single word.

The Shaykh : Do not certify yourself, do not certify yourself.

The Shaykh : You today, this very day, you let your mind wander and left it.

The questioner : One minute.

The questioner : ...

The Shaykh : No, but did I tell you that this is a response to the one who said that the Messenger does not sin?

The questioner : No, no, I did not say that.

The Shaykh : Yes, even though this is important among the benefits of the hadith, yes. And did we discuss that the Messenger became angry, and how to reconcile this with his saying:
Do not get angry لا تغضب
?

The questioner : This is new, Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : This is a new opening, excuse me, ...

The Shaykh : Let us take the chapter "Modesty is from faith" in order to align with Sahih Muslim.
