The Reciter: "Chapter on traveling for a pressing issue and teaching one's family"

The Shaykh : The hadith of Malik ibn al-Huwayth (may Allah have mercy on him, may Allah be pleased with him) is not mentioned by the author here, but he mentions it later, referring to it.
Malik ibn al-Huwayth came with some of his companions of his age and they stayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) for about twenty nights. When he saw that they were longing for their families, he ordered them to return.
Because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) lives for himself and lives for others, he felt that these young men had stayed away from their families for twenty days, and they must surely be longing for their families. So he said:
Return to your families, teach them, and guide them, and pray as you have seen me praying.
This is part of good care, that a person looks at the person's condition, not at what he desires, meaning he places every person in his proper station.
