The Shaykh :Sahih al-Bukhari 6008 And this is part of good care: that a person looks at the state of the individual, not at what he desires. That is, he places every person in his proper station. Some people, meaning, do not care... for people to come and go according to what he wants, and this is an error. Be flexible with people, meaning, let there be flexibility with you, and feel what people feel. If you see a person desiring something that contains no religious prohibition, then go along with him. It is mentioned in the story of Salman al-Farisi when he embraced Islam; the historians mentioned that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) was described to him, and some of his conduct was described to him. Among the things described to him was that the Seal of Prophethood is between his shoulders, like a seal, by the permission of Allah, a seal like a large mole, black, leaning toward red, with hairs in it. This is between the shoulders of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). He says: without him saying to him "come down," because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) loves to give every person what he wants, on the condition that there is no religious prohibition in it. So if we were to follow even a little of these matters in our dealings with people, we would attain much good.
