Continuation of the explanation of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Whoever does evil will not be recompensed except the like thereof, and whoever does good, whether male or female, while he is a believer, then those will enter Paradise”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
If he is not a believer, then his good deeds will not benefit him, even if the deed is of a kind that benefits others; it will not benefit him. This is due to the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allah and in His Messenger
[At-Tawbah 9:54]
Therefore, the non-believer is not benefited by his deeds. If a disbeliever man were to repair the roads, lay water pipes to water the people, build mosques, print books, clothe the naked, and feed the hungry, would this benefit him? No. For this reason, the deeds of the hypocrites do not benefit them because they are not believers. By this, we know that faith is the foundation: believe first, then work. As for work without faith—may Allah not strip faith from us and from you—work without faith is futile:
And We will regard what they have done of deeds and make them as dust dispersed.
[Al-Furqan 25:23]
Faith is necessary first, then if you believe, work. And if you work, then be sincere and follow:
Then those will enter Paradise
The phrase “then those” is the answer to the condition. What is the condition?
And whoever does righteousness
[Ar-Rum 30:44]
.
Then those will enter Paradise
Here he said: “Those” using the demonstrative pronoun used for distance, indicating the highness of their rank, as if you are pointing to them while they are above.
