In His saying, the Exalted: ((Until when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it setting)) Is it in the eye of the observer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: Shaykh, may Allah reward you, does not the verse of Allah, the Exalted:
(85) So he followed a way (86) Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it [as if] setting in a spring of dark mud ثم أتبع سببًا * حتى إذا بلغ مغرب الشمس وجدَها تغرُب في عين حمِئَة
[Al-Kahf 18:85-86]
support their claim that we are the ones who see the sun? The action is attributed to the sun, and the scholars have explained that it is in the eye of the observer... it sets in a muddy spring, he found it setting

The action is attributed to the sun, this is it, and the scholars said that it is in the eye of the observer, and it does not set, rather it sets...

The Shaykh : It disappears from his view, yes, okay.
The student: Does it set in a muddy spring?

The Shaykh : Yes, how? It disappears from his view in the sea, but it is not in the middle of the sea, of course. That is why he said: he found it setting.
The student: Teach us, O Shaykh, that the earth was created before the sun, so what is the wisdom?

The Shaykh : The earth before the sun?
The student: The earth... before the sun.

The Shaykh : We have not been taught this... before the sky.
