“ with the punishment abode [Fussilat 41:24] seeking pardon, meaning satisfaction [Fussilat 41:24] meaning those who are satisfied” Pay attention to this severe warning. This is like His saying, the Exalted: [At-Tur 52:16] the punishment other than the punishment of the Hereafter. Relief is awaited for it, because the permanence of a state is impossible. So if a person is patient with affliction, the end is its removal. But in the Hereafter, if they are patient, they will not be saved from the punishment; the Fire is their abode. It is their abode before patience and after patience. But this is from the category of despair for them, and that their patience benefits them nothing. meaning they seek pardon, meaning satisfaction. [Fussilat 41:24] Because they ask Allah, the Exalted, saying: [Al-Mu'minun 23:107] And the answer is: [Al-Mu'minun 23:108] But in this world, if they sought pardon and repented to Allah, they would attain it. But in the Hereafter, the time has passed. And His saying: [Fussilat 41:24] meaning abode. And every person’s abode is the Fire, so he has no share in Paradise.
