Continuation of the benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((And We assigned for them companions who adorned for them what was before them and what was behind them, and the word became binding upon them in the nations that had passed before them of the jinn and mankind, indeed they were the losers))

They are called the Majus of this Ummah, because they claimed that there are two creators of events. The events that are from the action of Allah are from His action, and the events that are from the action of the servant are from his action independently. These are the Mu'tazilah and those who follow their outward appearance, and their leaders are 'Amr ibn 'Ubayd and Wasil ibn 'Ata'. The third opinion: those who said that the servant has will and choice, but his will and choice are subordinate to the will and decree of Allah the Exalted. These are the righteous Salaf, the people of the Sunnah and the community. They said: the servant is the one who stands, fasts, bows, prostrates, goes, and comes; it is the servant, not Allah. And they said that these actions are attributed to him, and how much there is in the Qur'an
as reward for what they used to do.
[As-Sajdah 32:17]
about what they used to do.
[Al-An'am 6:159]
and the like of that, but they did not occur outside the power and will of Allah the Exalted; rather, they are under the power and will of Allah. The benefit of this is that when an action occurs from us, we know that Allah has willed it and intended it, and we are not independent in it. Now, this verse
And We appointed for them companions who made attractive to them what was before them
[Fussilat 41:25]
refutes both groups.
We assigned
It refutes the Qadariyyah, and
And they adorned
the attribution of the action to them refutes the Jabriyyah.
Among the benefits of the noble verse is being wary of the whispers that Satan casts upon the doer of sin, and he adorns it for him, saying, "This is easy, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful, do this and then repent," and the like of that. Beware of this, for this is the promise of Satan
But Satan does not promise them except delusion.
[An-Nisa 4:120]
.
Among the benefits of the noble verse is that these who followed the companions have lost, due to His saying:
Indeed, they [all] were losers.
[Fussilat 41:25]
.
Among the benefits of the noble verse is that these who approved of what the companions adorned for them, the word became binding upon them. It was previously mentioned that the word, according to the opinion of the author, is:
I will fill Hell
And according to what we mentioned, it is His saying:
Indeed, those upon whom the word of your Lord has come into effect will not believe,
[Yunus 10:96]
It is not far-fetched that the intended meaning is both matters.
Among the benefits of the noble verse is the multitude of those who are misguided by these companions, due to His saying:
and the word has come into effect upon them among nations
[Fussilat 41:25]
.
We begin the new lesson. Allah the Exalted said:
