Among the benefits of this noble verse is the virtue of faith and righteous deeds, and that they are a cause for Allah the Exalted to respond.
And among its benefits is that Allah the Exalted gives to the believers who do righteous deeds more than what they did, as He said:[An-Nisa 4:173] This increase is mentioned by Allah the Exalted in other places in His Book, where He said: [Al-An'am 6:160] and He said: [al-Baqarah: 261]. It may also be said that there is another increase besides the number, which is that He increases them in faith and righteous deeds, because whenever a person does a righteous deed, his certainty increases. For this reason, the people of the Sunnah and the community hold that deeds are included in faith.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is that all good that a person receives is by the bounty of Allah. Accordingly, a person must cut off self-admiration from himself, and he must not say, “This is from me,” or “I am worthy of it,” or similar words in which he boasts against Allah Mighty and Majestic.
And among the benefits of this noble verse is the warning against disbelief, as Allah the Exalted said:[Ash-Shuraa 42:26]
And among the benefits of this noble verse is that Allah the Exalted warns people against sins and disbelief by mentioning the punishment. The scholars derived from this that if Allah the Exalted mentions a punishment for a certain deed, that indicates its prohibition, and if He mentions a reward for a certain deed, that indicates its prescription.
And among its benefits is that Allah the Exalted gives to the believers who do righteous deeds more than what they did, as He said:
grant them extra from His bounty
ويزيدهم من فضلهWhoever comes [on the Day of Judgement] with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof [to his credit]
من جاء بالحسنة فله عشر أمثالهاThe example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills
And among the benefits of this noble verse is that all good that a person receives is by the bounty of Allah.
