Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "The seventeenth: The general rule, due to his saying:
They are the ways إنها السنن
"
.

The Shaykh : It means the ways, because this Ummah will follow the ways of those who came before it. And we said when explaining this hadith that it does not mean permissibility and lawfulness, but rather it means warning. Because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
This Ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all in the Fire except one إن هذه الأمة ستفترق على ثلاث وسبعين فرقة كلها في النار إلا واحدة
And we said that the Messenger informed that there will be among his Ummah those who make lawful the slave, silk, intoxicants, and musical instruments, and that the woman will travel from such a place to such a place fearing nothing but Allah, and similar to these matters which the Shari'ah forbids, but destiny may bring them about. It is clear.
The student:
Fearing nothing but Allah لا تخشى إلا الله
The intended meaning is, for example, the sin ... .

The Shaykh : The sin, that it is without a mahram. Yes.
The reader: "The eighteenth: That this is knowledge"

The Shaykh : Knowledge
The reader: That this is knowledge from the signs of prophethood.

The Shaykh : From, from the fact that this is knowledge from the signs
The reader: That this is knowledge from the signs of prophethood

The Shaykh : That this is knowledge?
The reader: Knowledge.

The Shaykh : Knowledge, or knowledge?
The student: knowledge

The Shaykh : In the accusative case, or in the nominative case?
The reader: In the nominative case.

The Shaykh : And what raised it to the nominative case?
The reader: The khabar (predicate).

The Shaykh : The khabar of inna, good.
The reader: "That this is knowledge from the signs of prophethood, because it happened as he informed".

The Shaykh : Allahu Akbar. Good. If someone were to say, did not the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) address the people at 'Arafah and say:
Satan has despaired of ever being worshipping in this land of yours إن الشيطان قد أيس أن يُعبد في جزيرة العرب
Sunan Ibn Majah 3055Hasan (Darussalam)
Yes. The answer is yes, the Messenger said that and informed that Satan has despaired of being worshipped alongside Allah in this peninsula. But his despair does not indicate that it will not happen, for the matter happens contrary to what Satan expects. Because when the conquests occurred and Islam became strong and people entered the religion of Allah in great numbers, Satan despaired of being worshipped alongside Allah in this peninsula. But the wisdom of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) refuses anything but that it happens. And we say this, meaning, it is necessary, so that it is not said that all actions that occur in the Arabian Peninsula cannot be shirk (associating partners with Allah). Because if we said that this despair is realized, then all actions done in the peninsula would not be shirk. And it is known that the Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him) renewed tawhid (the oneness of Allah) in the Arabian Peninsula, and that the people at that time, some of them, were mushrikin (those who associate partners with Allah). So here, it is a report of what occurred in Satan himself at that time, but it does not necessitate that it will not happen. And this is what the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) says:
you will certainly follow the practices of your predecessors لتركبن سنن من كان قبلكم
Mishkat al-Masabih 5408
And he is addressing the Companions, and they are in the Arabian Peninsula. Yes.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh :
till the buttocks of the women of the tribe of Daus move while going round Dhi-al-Khalasa حتى تضطرب أليات نساء دوس عند ذي الخلصة
Sahih al-Bukhari 7116
Yes.
