The reader: "The thirteenth: Restricting the fear for his Ummah to the misguiding imams".

The Shaykh : The misguiding imams are of three categories: rulers, scholars, and worshippers. These are the misguiding imams because they are followed. The rulers have authority, control, and execution; the scholars have guidance and direction; and the worshippers have the ability to mislead and deceive people with their states. These are the imams about whom one fears, and the Ummah fears them, because the general public do not obey them or follow their example. But these are the ones who are followed and obeyed. Yes.

And from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Avoid the seven destructive things." It was asked: (by those present): "What are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Associating anyone or anything with Allah in worship; practising sorcery, killing of someone without a just cause whom Allah has forbidden, devouring the property of an orphan, eating of usury, fleeing from the battlefield and slandering chaste women who never even think of anything touching chastity and are good believers.
