Explanation of the author's statement: "The Hour will not come until a tribe from my Ummah joins the polytheists, and until groups from my Ummah worship idols."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
The Hour will not come until a tribe from my Ummah joins the polytheists ولا تقوم الساعة حتى يلحق حي من أمتي بالمشركين
"Hayy" means a tribe that joins the polytheists. Is the intended meaning physical joining, meaning they go to the polytheists and enter among them, or legal joining, or both? It includes both, but the lesser of the two is legal joining, meaning they associate partners with Allah while remaining in their homelands. Did this happen or not? Did it happen? For example.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : In the caliphate of Abu Bakr during the apostasy, if we say it includes what happened in the caliphate of Abu Bakr during the apostasy and the various types of disbelievers and polytheists after that, then here the word "hayy" (tribe) from my Ummah: is the intended meaning the generic sense (tribes) or a single tribe from the tribes?
The student: The generic sense.

The Shaykh : According to your interpretation of it, the intended meaning is the generic sense, meaning until tribes from my Ummah join the polytheists. But if we say it is a single one, then this tribe must be a tribe of value and weight such that when it joins the polytheists, it has an impact on the Muslim Ummah. And the intended meaning of "hayy" is a single tribe, but this tribe must have a great impact and importance such that it becomes clear and apparent. And with this, we do not depart from the apparent meaning of the wording. We do not depart from the apparent meaning of the wording, meaning it is not said, for example, that this great tribe entirely apostatized and became disbelievers; this would have a profound impact. Yes, and perhaps this phrase is connected to the one before it: this tribe has an imam who deviates, may Allah protect us, and becomes a disbeliever, so the entire tribe follows him, and it becomes clear and apparent, and its matter becomes evident. If you refer to the explanation.

The Shaykh : ... .
The student: In a narration...

The Shaykh : Huh?
The student: In a narration...

The Shaykh : ... do you have it?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Is this from it?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Fath al-Mujid, yes.
The student: ... In a narration of Abu Dawud:
Until tribes from my Ummah join حتى يلحق قبائل من أمتي
Sahih Ibn Hibban 64:146
and the meaning is that ... they join ...

The Shaykh : So the difficulty is resolved.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : In any case, the important point is that it has become clear that the intended meaning of "hayy" is not just a single tribe, but the generic sense. Good.
His statement:
And until groups from my Ummah worship idols وحتى تعبد فئام من أمتي الأوثان
.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes.
The student: ... and that He does not send against them an enemy from other than themselves.

The Shaykh : And why? This is one issue and this is another issue.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : But these people associated partners with Allah... they associated partners with Allah and became disbelievers... there is no hadith that they were sent against the Ummah; they became disbelievers and apostatized. ... In any case, they may become disbelievers and fear the Muslims and not move.
Good, and his statement:
And until groups from my Ummah worship idols وحتى تعبد فئام من أمتي الأوثان
And this has happened, or not? Groups in every direction of the Muslims worship idols, they worship graves, yes, and they honor their occupants and ask them for their needs and desires and turn to them in times of fear.
He (peace and blessings be upon him) said.
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes. No, no. No, the apparent meaning is "fiyam" (groups), not "ahyaa" (tribes), meaning it could be one person from a tribe and one person from a tribe and one person from a tribe who gather together.
He said:
There will be among my people thirty great liars each of them asserting that he is (Allah's) prophet, where as I am the seal of the Prophet s after whom (me) there will be no prophet وإنه سيكون في أمتي كذابون ثلاثون كلهم يزعم أنه نبي وأنا خاتم النبيين لا نبي بعدي
Sunan Abi Dawud 4252Sahih (Al-Albani)
. There will be thirty liars in his Ummah: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) limited their number and counted them. Each of them claims to be a prophet to whom revelation was sent, and they are liars because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Seal of the Prophets and there is no prophet after him. So whoever claims to be a prophet after the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is a disbeliever whose blood and wealth are lawful, and whoever believes him in that is also a disbeliever whose blood and wealth are lawful, and he is not from the Muslims nor from the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). And whoever claims to be better than Muhammad and that he receives directly from Allah, while Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) receives from Allah through the angel, is also a disbeliever whose blood and wealth are lawful.
And his statement:
Thirty liars كذابون ثلاثون
Have they appeared? Some of them have appeared and some are still to come. Some of them have appeared... because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did not limit them to a specific time. The important thing is that the Hour will not come until these people exist. So as long as the Hour has not come, they are awaited.
