Using stones, slabs, or wood when bricks are not available

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: If bricks are not available, should stones be used?

A: If bricks are not available, it is obligatory to use stones, slabs, or wood, or anything else that protects the deceased, and then to sprinkle earth over him; based on the previous verse, which is His saying, the Exalted:
So fear Allah as much as you are ableفَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ
[Surat al-Taghabun: 16] and the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
And if I order you to do something, then do of it as much as you can.إذا أمرتكم بأمر فأتوا منه ما استطعتم
