One who hears a deceased person complaining in his grave about rights owed to him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: What is obligatory for one who hears a deceased person complaining in his grave about rights owed to him, and is it obligatory for him to inform his heirs? N. A.

A: In the name of Allah, and all praise is due to Allah. If he is certain of that, then he must inform them. Or if he sees him in a dream and is certain of that, then he must inform his family about it. This is among the lessons that Allah shows some of His servants on earth so that they may take heed. If that is found, then let his family look into it; if there are established rights owed by him, let them be paid, and let them give charity on his behalf and make du'a' for him.
Ibn Rajab mentioned in his book on the states of graves something of this regarding their punishment of this type, and mentioned that the grave of some person was opened for certain reasons and they found its owner burning in fire. We ask Allah for safety.
