Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: Is making du'a' at the grave of the deceased done by raising the hands?

A: If he raises his hands, there is nothing wrong with it; for it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
That he (peace and blessings be upon him) visited the graves, raised his hands, and made du'a' for their inhabitantsأنه ﷺ زار القبور ورفع يديه ودعا لأهلها
narrated by Muslim.
