The ruling on one who passes the miqat while riding in an airplane

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: What is the ruling on one who intends to perform Hajj while coming from one of the countries, and the airplane lands at Jeddah airport, but he does not enter the state of ihram, so he enters the state of ihram from Jeddah? What is required of him?

Answer: If the airplane lands in Jeddah and he is from the people of Sham or Egypt, he must enter the state of ihram from Rabigh. He goes to Rabigh by car or other means and enters the state of ihram from Rabigh, and he does not enter the state of ihram from Jeddah. Likewise, if he came from Najd and did not enter the state of ihram until he descended to Jeddah, he goes to al-Sayl, which is Wadi Qarn, and enters the state of ihram from there. If he enters the state of ihram from Jeddah and does not go to the miqat, he must sacrifice one sheep that is sufficient for the 'Id sacrifice, which he slaughters in Makkah for the poor, or one-seventh of a camel or one-seventh of a cow, as mentioned previously, to compensate for his Hajj or 'Umrah.
