Reading and commentary on the poet's sermon: And that he not present himself tomorrow before Allah and His Messenger to positions of disgrace and humiliation

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "So it is fitting for one who has a status and value for his own self that he not sell it for the lowest of prices, and that he not present it tomorrow before Allah and His Messenger to positions of disgrace and humiliation, and that he firm his feet".

The Shaykh : As for his saying: "before Allah", the matter is clear, for we will stand before Allah (Mighty and Majestic) as He the Exalted said:
O mankind, indeed you are laboring toward your Lord with [great] exertion and will meet it. يا أيها الإنسان إنك كادح إلى ربك كدحاً فملاقيه
[Al-Inshiqaq 84:6]
You will meet your Lord, and He will question you with an easy reckoning if you are among those who are given their book in their right hand, or the opposite. As for "before the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)," this is understood to mean that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) will testify that he conveyed the clear message to his Ummah, as Allah the Exalted said:
And thus we have made you a just community that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you. وكذلك جعلناكم أمة وسطا لتكونوا شهداء على الناس ويكون الرسول عليكم شهيداً
[Al-Baqarah 2:143]
And when he testifies that he conveyed the clear message, he testifies against his Ummah. So whoever contradicts the implication of this testimony is in disgrace and shame. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.
