The Shaykh : ... then he commanded ... to adorn oneself with fairness. Fairness is for a person to speak the truth, even if it is against himself ... and not to be biased. It became clear that, i.e., fairness ... and truth, may Allah have mercy on him ... clear. Then after that, he commanded that a person should always make his motto the fear of Allah, and giving sincere advice to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and that he should hold fast to the rope of Allah and His strength, and that he should place his reliance upon Him to the utmost extent of reliance until he reaches ... .
The reader: "The truth is a description of the Lord, and it is His path that guides to Him the one who has faith
And it is the path upon which is the Lord of the Throne, and this has come in the Qur'an"
.

The Shaykh : The truth is a description of Allah (Mighty and Majestic)
That is because Allah is the Truth ذلك بأن الله هو الحق
[Al-Hajj 22:6]
So is He who guides to the truth more worthy to be followed or he who guides not unless he is guided أفمن يهدي إلى الحق أحق أن يُتبع أمن لا يهدي إلا أن يهدى
[Yunus 10:35]
So it is the truth, and it is the guide to the truth, and His path is also the truth. So these are three matters: Allah the Exalted is the truth, the truth is His description, and He guides, meaning He guides His servants ... and His path that leads to Him is the truth.
