Reading from the poet’s words: “If your Lord had willed, you too would have been like them…” to his words: “…and he advised and said farewell to all the brothers”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: “If your Lord had willed, you too would have been like them *** For the heart is between the fingers of the Most Merciful
And beware of the ambushes of your self, for when *** They emerge against you, you are broken, broken in humiliation
And if you prevail over them, you are like one who sought *** To extinguish smoke with a firebrand
And Allah is the most informed, and He is the truest of speakers *** That He will surely support His servant with safety
Whoever does evil will be recompensed with its like *** ”

The Shaykh : The evil, the alif in the word “evil” is like the alif in the word “throne”
The reader: “Whoever does evil will be recompensed with its like *** Or whoever does good will attain the Gardens”
This is the advice of Nafi’ and for himself ***

The Shaykh : An advisor
The reader: This is the advice of an advisor and for himself *** He advised and said farewell.

The Shaykh : And farewell to all, and farewell to all is better, with the letter lam
The reader: “This is the advice of an advisor and for himself *** He advised and said farewell to all the brothers”
