Commentary on the poet's saying: "And people are either believers or deniers"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he said: "And people are either believers or deniers *** or between that or like a female donkey"
How many categories are there?
The student: Four.

The Shaykh : Four: believers, like the people of the Sunnah; deniers, like the people of ta'til (denial of the divine attributes); those in between, like the Asha'irah, who believe in some attributes and deny others; and those like a female donkey, who have no creed at all, just as a donkey has no creed whatsoever. This is the classification of people in their views. For this reason, he said:
"So make a shield of precise negation *** and reject all of it with craft and explanation
And likewise label the school of affirmation *** with tajsim (ascribing a body to Allah), then impose it on your peers
So whenever you allowed them a single description, *** they launched against you with the charge of the cavalry "

So he says: what do you take as your shield? Denial. Take from the negation, which is denial, a precise shield and say: we negate affirming anything for Him, because if we affirm anything for Him, we liken Him to bodies. And "reject all of it" means: do not allow affirmation, not even of a single attribute. Why? Because if you allow one attribute, they will compel you to accept the rest and attack you, as he (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "*** they will attack you with the charge of cavalry"
So you are thrown down, a throw of one who is entangled *** in the middle of the lion's den, his flesh torn
For this reason, we denied all of it, fearing *** tajsim (ascribing a body to Allah), if we were to turn to the Qur'an
And so we cast off the yoke of religions from *** our necks in times past "

I seek refuge in Allah. This is disbelief in Allah (Mighty and Majestic) and denial of Him, because they saw people in this state and said: we will abandon it and be safe from everything. The time has passed.
The student: Speak about the Daisaniyyah.

The Shaykh : What is the Daisaniyyah?
The student: A group who claimed that the clay of the world

The Shaykh : What is it?
The student: A group who claimed that the clay of the world was coarse clay, and it imitated the body of light, which is the Creator in their view, for a time. It caused Him discomfort, so when it lasted long for Him, He intended to remove it from Himself, so He transformed into it and mixed with it, and from between them this world was composed, containing darkness and light.

The Shaykh : Yes, I don't know, by Allah,
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Yes, but I don't know, by Allah, a page. We read al-Tusi.
The student: Before.

The Shaykh : We didn't read al-Tusi?
The student: No, we didn't read it.

The Shaykh : Okay, I found it.
The student: ....

The Shaykh : ... For this reason, we denied all of it.
The student: Three or four lines before it.

The Shaykh :"For this reason, we denied all of it, fearing *** tajsim (ascribing a body to Allah), if we were to turn to the Qur'an"
We read this. We read "And for this reason, we cast off". We read "And we have imams like the philosophers who".
The student: And we have kings.

The Shaykh : Khabar, khabar, after that also, "And we have imams." We read it. Okay, good, if Allah wills. "For this reason, we denied". Come on... for this reason, we denied.
