A reading from the words of the poet: A chapter on the doctrine of the Karramiyyah and those who say that it is by His will *** in His essence as well; they are of two types, one of which He made beginning with ***

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: " A chapter on the doctrine of the Karramiyyah
And those who say that it is by His will *** in His essence as well; they are of two types
One of which He made beginning with *** a type, out of fear of "

The Shaykh : out of fear of
The reader: " One of which He made beginning with *** a type, out of fear of the succession of essences
So that would block for them, in their claim, *** the establishment of a Creator of these universes "

The Shaykh : the establishment
The reader: " So that would block for them, in their claim, *** the establishment of a Creator of these universes
So they said that He has a beginning *** for annihilation has no authority over Him
And His speech is like His action, and both *** have a beginning, yet they do not end
They said, and their opponents did not act justly, they made a commotion *** and brought forth condemnation without proof
We said, as they said regarding His actions *** but between us is a distance of distinction
Rather, we are happier with the truth, for *** we said that both subsist by Allah
And they said that neither action nor speech subsists by Allah, so it is negation
Negation of His action and speech is worse *** and more invalid "

The student: Do you have "worse"?

The Shaykh : "Worse" for me.
The student: "Worse"?

The Shaykh : Negation of His action and speech is worse
The reader: " Negation of His action and speech is worse *** and more invalid than the manifestation of events by explanation
His negation of His action and His speech *** "

The Shaykh : and His speech
The student: And His speech?

The Shaykh : With the kasrah.
The reader: " His negation of His action and His speech *** is worse than condemnation with nonsense
These are the statements of Ibn Karam, and they *** never refuted him with proof
How so? And what he said is closer to them *** than reason, the reports, and the Qur'an
But they came to him with clamor *** and noise and loud, harsh sounds "
