Continuation of the explanation of the hadith: (Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) who said: (A woman is married for four things: for her wealth, and for her lineage

The Shaykh : They vary, and the common case is that it is for these four purposes: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty, and for her religion.
For her wealth, for example: that a woman is an old woman, that the woman is an old woman, but she has billions, she has billions, so he marries her for what? For her wealth, because he anticipates her death between one evening and the next morning, and if she has no children, he takes half, and if it is said that the remainder is returned to the spouses, which is a weak opinion, he takes all the wealth, but the correct view is that it is not returned to the spouses.
Now, this is for wealth. A woman is married for her lineage, and this is among the tribes. It is well known that some tribes differ from others in honor and lowliness. So a person who is lowly in terms of lineage, meaning his tribe is lowly in the eyes of people, marries from a noble tribe in order to elevate himself and his descendants, because when people talk and say: So-and-so married from the family of so-and-so, his status rises, and his children’s statuses also rise, because it is said: these are their maternal uncles, the sons of so-and-so, as is well known.
The third: for her beauty, meaning that the woman is beautiful, not possessing wealth or lineage, but she is beautiful, so he marries her for her beauty. Now, even if she does not have lineage? Yes, even if she does not have lineage.
And the fourth: for her religion. A woman who is religious, especially if she possesses knowledge, he marries her for that, because he loves to marry a woman who helps him in obedience to Allah. The religious woman helps in obedience to Allah and fulfills the husband’s rights in the best way and cooperates with him in his affairs. So much so that some religious women, when they see their husband’s desire to marry another woman, go and propose to him on her behalf. But if a non-religious woman comes and dreams at night that you are marrying, she may raise the whole world against you, as is the reality, except for whom Allah wills! But I have heard about some religious women that they propose to their husbands, because the one with religion is never deceived by her. If you are absent, she guards you. If you confide in her, she does not betray you in your secret, nor in your wealth, nor in your child, nor in your family. For this reason, he said: meaning: make her like a spoils of war that its finder seizes, and , meaning: the one with religion. And be assured that if you adhere to this advice from the most sincere of people for you, it may be that this religious woman, even if she is little beautiful, turns out to be in your eyes the most beautiful of women. And note that beauty is not everything. Sometimes a woman is beautiful, but Allah makes her not beautiful in the eyes of her husband, so you find people talking about her beauty, but she is not beautiful to him, because hearts are in the hand of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). So if you take this advice, the outcome is undoubtedly good, because it is as if you are consulting the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and he advises you to marry a woman with religion.
And his saying: "Tubitat" means that they stuck to the dust, or were filled with dust, or dust clung to them, and all these meanings are interconnected. The meaning is that you became poor, because one whose hand finds nothing but dust is poor. But this word is used on tongues without its meaning and implication being intended, but rather it is intended as an exhortation and encouragement to do the thing. It was said that it is on the assumption of a deleted condition: "May your hands be dusted if you do not seize her." So, according to the second, according to this second meaning, it becomes a supplicatory sentence, meaning: that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) invoked a curse upon the one who did not seize the one with religion, invoking this curse upon him. As for the first, it is not a supplicatory sentence, but rather the sentence is enticing, meaning: what is intended by it? Enticing the person to this matter. And similar to it is the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to Mu'adh ibn Jabal: As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 65:415 "May your mother be bereaved of you" means: I have lost you. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) does not invoke a curse upon a person that his mother should lose him, but it is an enticing sentence. And it was said that it is a supplicatory sentence on the assumption of a deleted condition, meaning: if you do not understand. Now, in any case, "May your hands be dusted" means: they stuck to the dust, or were filled with it, or dust clung to them, and it is a euphemism for poverty.

The third: for her beauty, meaning that the woman is beautiful, not possessing wealth or lineage, but she is beautiful, so he marries her for her beauty. Now, even if she does not have lineage? Yes, even if she does not have lineage.
