Explaining the Defectiveness of the Methodology of the People of Distortion (Ta'wil)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And he gave an example in the commentary by saying, "Allah the Exalted said:
And your Lord has come and the angels, rank upon rank, وجاء ربك والملك صفًّا صفًّا
[Al-Fajr 89:22]
" He then said: "The original text was 'And your Lord came, and the angels, rank after rank,' so the modifier was deleted and the modified was placed in its position." There is no doubt that this is an error, for this is the methodology of the people of distortion who distort the words from their places regarding the names and attributes of Allah. What made them know that the meaning is 'And the command of your Lord came'? Do they have evidence? They have no evidence. For this reason, those who distort the verses of the attributes say about Allah without knowledge. They say about Allah without knowledge in two ways: The first way is that they said, "Allah did not intend such and such." The second way is that they said, "He intended such and such." So they said: "Allah did not intend that He comes Himself; Allah did not intend that, because coming is impossible in their view. And He intended: 'And the command of your Lord came,' 'And the command of your Lord came.'" Here, they said about Allah without knowledge, denying what Allah said and affirming what Allah did not say. We ask Allah for safety.
