The ruling on performing Hajj on behalf of a deceased person who neglected to perform Hajj

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Is it valid to perform Hajj on behalf of a deceased person, even if he was lax and did not intend to perform Hajj during his lifetime?

Answer: If he was a Muslim and did not perform Hajj, then Hajj is performed on his behalf from his estate if he died while being able to perform Hajj. If some of his relatives or others perform Hajj on his behalf, that suffices.
As for if he was a disbeliever, then Hajj is not performed on his behalf.
