The ruling on one who uproots trees while in the state of ihram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: My mother went to perform Hajj, and during her ihram, she forgot and uprooted some small trees. Is her Hajj valid, and what is obligatory for her to do now?

Answer: This issue requires detailed explanation: If her ihram began from the miqat, then the trees she uprooted do not cause harm; because it is not within the Haram, such as the miqat of the people of Madinah and the miqat of the people of Ta’if (Wadi Mahram), and likewise the miqat of Yemen, and likewise the miqat of the people of Sham, Egypt, and Iraq, none of which are within the Haram. Therefore, any tree or plant uprooted from them does not cause harm, and there is nothing required for it.
However, if she uprooted them during her ihram within the Haram, in the middle of the Haram in Makkah, this is an error, but she owes nothing for it other than repentance to Allah for it; first, because of her ignorance, and second, because there is no clear text obligating the payment of the value of the uprooted tree or green plant.
