In cases of dire necessity, there is no harm in taking birth control pills

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A Muslim sister says, "I have five children, and I suffer with every birth. I went to one of the hospitals in the Kingdom and found no treatment other than using pills to stop pregnancy. I am aware that I pray and fast, and I fear Allah that there might be something wrong with me regarding this. Please issue a ruling for us, may Allah reward you with good."
Answer: In cases of dire necessity, there is no harm in taking the pills temporarily if there is harm or strain on the uterus due to childbirth or a surgical procedure. There is no objection to taking the pills for a period of time, such as during the breastfeeding period of one or two years, so that the uterus can rest somewhat. This requires consulting knowledgeable doctors and reaching an agreement with the husband on this matter. If you both agree and there is harm at a certain time, the pills are taken in a limited amount until the effect that causes the harm is removed.
