Ruling on purchasing from a company representative at car dealerships

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: There is a company that has representatives at car dealerships. If someone wants to buy a car on installment, he agrees with the dealership owner on the price, then calls the representative of this company. The company pays the full price of the car to the dealership, then the company installs the amount for the buyer in monthly installments with interest. We ask you to inform us about the permissibility of dealing with this company, both for the car dealership owners and for the buyers?

Answer: This action by the company you mentioned is contrary to the Islamic ruling; because it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
It is not lawful to combine a loan with a sale, nor to sell what you do not haveلا يحل سلف وبيع، ولا بيع ما ليس عندك
, and it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said to Hakim ibn Hizam:
Do not sell what is not with you.لا تبع ما ليس عندك
Sunan Ibn Majah 2187Hasan (Darussalam)
.
And it is established from Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade to sell the goods where they are bought until the tradesmen take them to their houses.أنه نهى أن تباع السلع حيث تبتاع، حتى يحوزها التجار إلى رحالهم
Sunan Abi Dawud 3499Hasan li ghairih (Al-Albani)
.
And this action by the aforementioned company is contrary to all these hadiths; because it sells what it does not own, and it is not permissible to cooperate with it in that; due to the saying of the Exalted:
And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.
[Al-Ma'idah: 2].
The Islamic way is: that the company buys the cars or other goods, takes possession of them in a place specific to it, then sells to whoever wishes to buy from it, either in cash or on credit. May Allah guide everyone to what pleases Him.
