The wisdom behind the prohibition of pork

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: What is the wisdom behind the prohibition of pork? I ask for your guidance.

Answer: Allah the Exalted said:
Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impureقُل لاَّ أَجِدُ فِي مَا أُوْحِيَ إِلَيَّ مُحَرَّمًا عَلَى طَاعِمٍ يَطْعَمُهُ إِلاَّ أَن يَكُونَ مَيْتَةً أَوْ دَمًا مَّسْفُوحًا أَوْ لَحْمَ خِنزِيرٍ فَإِنَّهُ رِجْسٌ
[Surat al-An'am: 145], and *rijss* (abomination) is: the impure, the foul, and this is the wisdom behind the prohibition of pork. For this reason, the disbelievers among the Christians and others have made it permissible for themselves because of their foulness; for the wisdom of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) necessitated that the foul are for the foul, and the foul are for the foul.
