What is the ruling on asking by the face of Allah the Exalted?

Question:
Is it permissible to ask by the face of Allah?

Answer:
One should not ask by the face of Allah, nor ask by Allah, except in cases of need.
The questioner: And the answer, O Shaykh, if he asks by the face of Allah, will he be answered?
The Shaykh: If he asks by the face of Allah, give him; based on the hadith: if it is feasible, but he should be taught not to ask by the face of Allah. He should be advised not to ask by the face of Allah.
