As for additional knowledge and expanding one's knowledge: he combines between the two matters; he does not disobey his parents in their needs, and he seeks knowledge according to his ability, combining between the two matters.
As for learning his religion, and what he cannot afford to be ignorant of: it is obligatory upon him, and it is required, and he has no right to obey anyone in that
Obedience is in matters which are good and universally recognized.إنما الطاعة في المعروف
