Does the husband have the right to compel his wife to delay making up fasts?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Does the husband have the right to delay making up fasts?

Answer:
As for what is immediate, no. The right of Allah takes precedence; the debt of Allah is more deserving of being made up.
As for making up fasts, there is no harm. Making up fasts of Ramadan can be delayed until Sha'ban, as in the hadith of Aishah.
As for obligatory expiations that are immediate and obligatory vows, no. But making up fasts of Ramadan, there is no harm. Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: "I used to have fasts to make up from Ramadan, and I could not make them up except in Sha'ban, because of the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)." Because there is leeway in this, and praise be to Allah.
