The reciter: Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Abu Kuraib narrated to us, and the wording is that of Abu Bakr, and they said: Abu Asimah narrated to us from Burayd ibn 'Abd Allah from Abu Burdah from Abu Musa, who said:
when God’s Messenger sent one of his companion’s to attend to some of his affairs he said, “Gladden people and do not scare them; make things easy and do not make them difficult. كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا بعث أحدا من أصحابه في بعض أمره قال : بشروا ولا تنفروا ، ويسروا ولا تعسروا

The Shaykh : This is a principle among the principles of the Islamic Shari'ah, which is that we bring good news and do not make things difficult. That is, instead of mentioning the texts of warning, we mention the texts of encouragement, so that souls accept what we call them to and embrace it. And instead of being strict with people and obliging them with everything that came in the Shari'ah, we make it easy for them, we make it easy for them, because this is more conducive to acceptance. This is a principle that every caller to Allah should follow, as if the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the one who sent them.
As for frightening people, being strict, and intending for people to be on the straightest path overnight, this is not the way of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), nor is it the way of Allah the Exalted in the universe. So be mindful of this principle: making things easy and facilitating them as much as possible. Yes.
