Explanation of the author's statement: "... one who was detained in a place of impurity ..."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The author said, "The new lesson today is 'not one who was detained in a place of impurity'."
"Not" is connected to the statement of "he repeats it", meaning that one who was detained in a place of impurity does not repeat the prayer. That is, if he was unable to get out to a pure place, then if he was detained, he does not have to repeat the prayer, because he was forced to stay in that place, and the ruling of coercion is lifted from this Ummah, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Indeed, Allah has overlooked for my Ummah, and lifted from my Ummah, mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they were coerced into. إن الله تجاوز عن أمتي، رفع عن أمتي الخطأ والنسيان وما استُكرهوا عليه
The difference between this and one who prayed in a garment of impurity is that the one who prayed in a garment of impurity was not forced to pray in it. Therefore, if he was forced to pray in the impure garment and it was said to him, "Pray in it, or we will do such and such," he prays in it and does not repeat the prayer. This is unlike the place in which he was detained, which was impure; in that case, he prays and does not have to repeat the prayer. The reasoning, as you heard, or rather the evidence, as you heard, is that it is excused for the one who is coerced. But how does he pray in the impure place? If the impurity is dry, he prays as usual. If it is wet, he prays by gesturing. He prays sitting on his feet by gesturing, because if it is wet, he must avoid it to the extent of necessity, meaning he must avoid it as much as possible. The least amount of impurity he can come into contact with is by sitting on his feet, without bowing as he normally bows, and without sitting as he normally sits, because if he sat, his leg, garment, and knee, for example, would become contaminated. So he reduces the contact with the impurity as much as he can, and he gestures for the bowing and prostration as much as he can.
Now, he said, "not one who was detained in a place of impurity".
