In the hadith of Abu Burdah: (No one will be accepted after you) How did we say that the "afterness" is a state?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to Abu Burdah
No one will be accepted after you لن تجزئ بعدك
meaning "after you" is a state. How do we mean that we used the expression?

The Shaykh : We used the expression "no one" because we often say, "So-and-so is poor, and there is no poverty after his poverty," or "his poverty is such that there is no poverty after it." This means it is the utmost degree of poverty, not that no poverty will come after it. Do you understand now or not? Good.
